Fallout 2 is one of my favourite games ever but something that always bothered me was the lack of character portraits (talking heads) compared to Fallout 1. This addon aims to solve this by adding many new animated portraits to relevant NPCs. Currently more than 160 are included. This mod is only for the updated version of the Restoration.

Fallout 2 mod Static Talking Heads for Modders No Mutants Allowed
It might not be worth it cause Fallout 2 only uses a limited palette of colours hence why the images look a little "crusty", you can probably tell by looking at the Talking Heads in this video. Fallout 2 Restoration Project - Talking Heads Addon. I'm working on an addon mod for the Restoration Project that aims to add Talking Heads (the portraits that appear when talking to characters like Sulik) to relevant characters. So far this is a work in progress but almost every location has at least a couple of NPCs with an animated portrait.
